The market members and the volunteers that help make the North End Harvest Market (NEHM) such a rich experience each Wednesday night all shared a few moments of Halloween revelry on October 31st. On top of the typical access to fresh fruits and vegetables at no cost to community members who have a need for some food security support, the Marketeers add kindness, laughter, silliness, and as many cosseted moments as possible to the experience. NEHM works to make fresh food more accessible to everyone… and to reduce any stigma or awkwardness that might accompany a need for some food security support.
