This position is designed to start the week of April 29th, 2019, and end by September 1st, 2019. (Posting closes Wed, Apr 10th!)

We’re hiring for the following positions in 6 camps across the city (postings close Wed, April 17th):

Camp Site Supervisor

Dear Site Supervisor, in this role you use your extensive camp experience to lead a staff and volunteer team to design and deliver an inclusive, creative and super-fun day camp for 25-35 campers for 6-8 weeks of the summer. In this role you are the senior leader onsite at a Neighbourhood Group camp.

Camp Assistant

Dear Camp Assistant, in this role you are a senior Camp Leader who is looking to have another rich summer of working with children and youth, and also looking to gain or further develop some Supervision and Planning skills, as you support the work of the Site Supervisor.

Leaders-in-Training Coordinator

Dear LIT Coordinator, in this role you work with the youth who want to gain camp leading skills. You use your coaching and mentoring skills to design and deliver a Leadership Training (LIT) and life skills building experience for older campers in the Neighbourhood Group (NG) camps. You will typically work with folks who are in grade seven and up, and you will support these youth to practice responsibility and Camp Leader work with the day campers. (Not all the NG camps have LIT programs).

Camp Leader

Dear Camp Leader, in this role you are part of a team of staff and volunteers that lead children and youth in safe, responsive, creative, and fun day camp  experiences for 6-8 weeks of the summer. Games and Activities! Health and Safety! A rainbow of experiences and friendships!

One-One Leader — In this role you use your inclusion skills and experience to help offer an amazing summer camp week to a little one that needs some extra support. You value compassionate relationship building and adaptive programming skills.

How to apply:

  1. Read through any of the postings listed and consider if one fits with your existing interests and experiences.
